SEMESTERS  NAME OF THE COURSE  OUTCOMES 
SEM 1 Geomorphology (Theory)  Students will gain a better understanding of various landforms, their growth and evolution on earth surfaces. Students will also learn the applied aspects of geomorphology in various fields. 
SEM 2 Climatology and Ocenography (Theory)  It will enable students to understand the global atmospheric circulations and disturbances, world climate systems, climate change and a better understanding of ocean floor, its landforms and features. 
SEM 3  Geography of India (Theory)  The geography of India offers first-hand knowledge of its diverse physical features, climate patterns, and rich biodiversity. It helps students understand the country's economic development, population distribution, and political divisions.
SEM 4   Geography of Punjab (Theory)  The curriculum of Geography of Punjab will provide insights into its physical features, agricultural economy, cultural and historical significance, socio-economic factors, and environmental concerns, encouraging a comprehensive understanding of the region.
SEM 5 & 6  Regional Geography of the World (Theory)  The study of geography of the world instills a better understanding of Earth's physical landscapes, climate variations, and diverse ecosystems. Students will be able to apply geographic methodology in analyzing a region. It also enlarges cultural awareness by exploring different countries' traditions, languages, and societal structures. Moreover,  students gain insights into global economic patterns, resource distribution, and international trade networks.                          Overall,                                                                                                      Geography as a subject proves to be very beneficial for students who are preparing for competitive exams like UPSC or SSC and enables students to have a bright future.

SEM 1   Cartography In this course students has introduced to the concept of Map and relevance of maps in geography. It also explain the elements of map making by training of drawing sheets.
SEM 2 Cartography  In this part of cartography students  get introduced about the basic concepts of GPS and knowledge of various methods of Representation of Relief in two units.
SEM 3  Cartography   In this course students will provide training in application of various graphical methods of depicting geographic data it apprise the students with symbolization of different type of data and depiction of various spatial data and it educates to interpret the topographical sheets at different scale. 
SEM 4  Cartography  It familiarize the students about GIS and Remote sensing and update them with the importance of computer cartography. 
SEM 5   Map Projection  Course provide an analytical understanding of use of common Map projection. Students will trained to draw map projection on the bases of various scales.  
SEM 6    Field Survey based report It acquaint the students with the importance of field work as one of the methodologies in geography and make them familiar about pre-field work and post-field work i.e. data processing and analysis and writing of field work reports. 
Attainment:-
By completing graduation with geography students can get enrolled in M.A /M.Sc. Geography for further studies .By studying Geography and its practical course students and get internship in various field like Sanji sikhya club etc. They can enroll in various field work as they have done in 3rd year practical because they have experience in field work reports.
