2. B.A-II (Compulsory and Punjabi literaturePunjabi Honours)Sem-III & Sem-IV Ø  During the second year the students are able to understand literary terms generally and concepts it develops confidence to read and write an analytical thinking. In  this course the students gain the knowledge of the various intricacies of the grammar. They understand and enjoy  play, One act play and  essay. through this they are connected to their roots rich culture and heritage and also understand the issues of contemporary society. medieval Punjabi poetry enables them to understand spiritualism and moral values  and travelogue will broaden their experience.
3. B.A-III (Compulsory and Punjabi literaturePunjabi Honours)Sem-V & Sem-VI Ø  This curriculum help student for the all round development and make them better human beings.Different genres of literature like poetry and novel focus on language skill and students can relate to their own lives.  The Study of literature specifically develops the skill of reading the minds of people and also inculcate the sense of understanding social phenomena from different angles.

5. BBA-I(Compulsory Punjabi )Sem-I & Sem-II Ø  This paper gives knowledge to the students regarding the basics of Punjabi language. At the end of first semester, students are able to identify, gives knowledge of Punjabi language, help them to think analytically. Syllabus of this course enable the student to read different genre, poetry, short stories. Short stories give them knowledge about contemporary issues and bring a vast experience. Poetry satisfy their aesthetical sense. Improved students communication skill and vocabulary. This paper is basically related with growth and development of students .

6. B.Com-I(Compulsory Punjabi )Sem-I & Sem-II Ø  A better understanding between biographies and autobiographies will be taught.Ø  Students will be taught to work on their professional appearance in terms  of professionally sound words, essays, translating business advertisements to Punjabi, correct, use of professional words for verbatim and vocabulary, correct form of grammar, to put thoughts forward in a more professional and corporate way.
  Attainment  Ø  Student is not only becoming proficient in his other subjects pertaining to accounts, etc. but also now excels in his/ her knowledge about Punjabi literature, it’s diverse forms, the whole system of Punjabi Grammar , lives of some of the very educated personalities of Punjabi literature.

M.A-II(Punjabi)( Punjabi Natak Ate Rangmanch da adhyan-I,II)Sem-III & Sem-IV  Ø  Knowledge will be imparted regarding history of Punjabi drama, epic, theatre, importance of stage ,  it’s ( drama) different trends and comparative study with other languages ,  different modes of explanation about the mythology behind drama and would also cover social reforms in the current society.
  Attainment Ø  A student now knows the difference between a one act play and a drama.Ø  She now understands new reforms in the drama culture.Ø  She is now able to play different characters with a deeper understanding of the role after reading the course book.Ø  A student now would have the courage and confidence to perform at least one of the many plays taught to her during the course of time.Ø  A student now is open to a horizon of new careers ahead of her be it in the field of drama, acting, theater, movies, etc.
