2   Zoology II Biodiversity  (Non chordates) & Ecology – I        &Biodiversity  (Non chordates) & Ecology – II ·         To identify the factors that affect biological diversity and the functioning of ecological systems.·         To understand and utilize the study to identify factors that have influenced species .·         To build a roadmap for the conservation of particular species that considers landscape management and that addresses a variety of human impacts on biological diversity·         To sensitize students for environmental sustainability & it's conservation for the global welfare 
3   Zoology III Biodiversity (Chordates) & Evolution-I         &Biochemistry           & Physiology-I ·         Students came to know key events in the history of evolutionary thought and concept of extinction.·         To get insight knowledge of unique features of chordates  and their life functions.·         To study the evolutionary role of different groups of chordates.

5   Zoology V Developmental Biology        &Applied Zoology-I ·         To understand the fundamental concept of embryogenesis and organogenesis of chordates along with window preparation and identification of stages of development·         To understand the evolutionary developments from lower to higher chordates according to their complexity of morphology & physiology as per needs of environment.·         To get practical knowledge about Insect taxonomy, morphology, development and pathology along with field visits 
6   Zoology VI Genetics-IEconomic Entomology and Pest Management-II ·         To understand the concepts of genetics at molecular level·         To get insight regarding genetic engineering ,cloning, genetically modified animals & various applications of genetics in the fields of pharmaceuticals,agriculture ,veterinary & medical fields for the betterment of lives·         To learn the pest management strategies that include chemical control, Biological control and IPM.·         To Understand the techniques of Apiculture, Sericulture and Lac culture regarding their commercial benefits
