Programme Outcomes - Business Management

The grain producer of country- a farmer is getting low returns instead of crop produce surplus in several parts of the country primarily due to inadequate marketing strategy. Business management interventions can play an important role to uplift rural economy and ensure food at affordable prices.  The management programme in the college intends to produce competent graduates having wide horizons of growth in their chosen profession. It prepares the students to take up varied corporate and non-corporate management jobs on one hand, while simultaneously prepare them to become future entrepreneurs.The programme offered by the department aims at producing future leaders in management sector by providing them theoretical and practical knowledge regarding various aspects of Business Environment. Also the management education provides skills to:

  1. Use the management education knowledge in solving complex corporate problems.
  2. Identifying the business opportunities available.
  3. Apply ethical principles.
  4. Function effectively as an individual, and as a member in diverse teams.
  5. Engage in independent and life-long learning.
  6. Become future entrepreneurs.

Being a UG programme it opens up varied avenues for higher education and professional development in the fields of management, law, taxation etc. as the students can go for MBA, LLB, CA and CS.The curriculum structure encompasses diverse subjects that involve learning skills for management of soft skills, finance, human resource, production, marketing that prepares the students to take up diverse roles in corporate sector.Also the subjects taught provide knowledge of issues related to taxation and economy.Apart from producing University toppers since its inception in 2012, the alumni of the department have been working in banks like SBI, Axis Bank and education sector and companies like Sony India. Additionally the students of the college are engaged in self-employment by being acclaimed bloggers (the_sass_journal).
