Our department organizes a Talent Hunt Competition to acknowledge the students and to showcase their artistic talents. The main objective of organizing this talent hunt was to locate the potential talent of the budding artists. Students from all different streams participated with great enthusiasm. Winners from eight different categories on the spot painting, poster making, collage making, cartooning, rangoli, clay modelling, still life and photography were felicitated by the judges of the competitions. |

Fine Arts Department organised an exquisite exhibition, held on the occasion of the 'Diwali Mela' at G.C.G., Ldh. The exhibition aimed to celebrate creativity, promote traditional craftsmanship, and provide a platform for budding artists to display their talents. The exhibition was held at a vibrant and spacious setting that provided the perfect backdrop for the display of intricate handmade crafts. It featured a wide range of handmade crafts, diwali decor, decorated diyaa and candles, hand painted suits, paintings etc... each category highlighting the diverse skills of the Fine Arts Department students. |

In this seminar, Dr. Vidisha, an Assistant Professor from Amity University, conducted a graphic design workshop at Government College for Girls. Organized by the Fine Arts Department, the event aimed to enhance students' creative skills and design knowledge. Dr. Vidisha covered key aspects of graphic design, career opportunities, and practical use of tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. The interactive session provided hands-on learning experiences. The college principal and vice principal appreciated the collaboration, and Dr. Vidisha was honored with an award and a gift as a token of gratitude. |
