The Deputy Director Mr. Davinder Singh Lotey officially commenced the meeting and addressed the gathering on important issues such as HIV/AIDS awareness, blood donation, and drug abuse. Dr. Sarioj also enlightened the gathering on the grim issue of HIV/AIDS Spread and the stigma surrounding the issue. She highlighted the alternatives and the remedies to prevent the spread of the disease too.Later, each college Red Ribbon Club received funds of ₹7,000 to support their activities. The event concluded with a lunch served to all the coordinators. The Honourable Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution, the values of unity, equality, and justice, and the role of youth in building a responsible and inclusive nation. She encouraged students to remain disciplined, socially aware, and committed to national development. The programme created a sense of pride and responsibility among the volunteers. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and respect for the nation. |
