An apex students’ body and an extended arm of the college faculty, the Student Council is installed every academic year. The motive behind its formation is to provide opportunity to the students to hone their leadership skills. This democratically elected students’ body comprises of the representatives of a range of clubs, cells and societies such as class representatives who are toppers in university examination, editors of various sections of college magazines, representatives of social and cultural activities, presidents of NSS, NCC, Rotaract Club, Red Cross Society, Women Forum, Legal Literacy Cell, Anti-drug Cell, Anti Ragging Cell Women Safety Cell etc. The main motive behind all the students’ organizations is to instill leadership and management skills and build confidence among students.
