Women, a most sensitive and delicate form of human being- more sociable, sensitive, warm, compassionate, polite, anxious, self-doubling, and more open to aesthetics. Women if today are not shy in speaking up their mind and are known as wonderful communicators, negotiators and statesman. Women have the ability to make better deal and personal engagements with people due to their impressive personality and unmatched art of oratory.
Women club or forum is a great help to the young girl as this society help and motivates the young students how to be active, smart and confident. By inviting great personalities like IPS officers, IAS officers, D.C. of the city like Dr. Guillayati, or Dr. Suman gynecologist, various business women, journalists, speakers, politicians, and professors are invited in the college for girls and their lectures motivate them and their personalities and make them knowledgeable that how these women’s have achieved their place in society and how they are giving back their best for young generation.
Legal literacy is equally important club or society. These types of clubs help to students and people in availing benefits from social welfare and other department. Justice is the corner stone and fundamental goal of every civilized nation. The chief purpose of law is justice which replicates in an orderly advancement of a given society. Lack of knowledge about the basic legal and civil liberties, human rights, constitutional directives that protect the dignity, liberty and freedom of people manifests itself in the society in the form of problems. To create legal awareness amongst the women, women should be aware of the laws of the land. Clubs in colleges are expected not only to boost legal literacy but will also help in strengthening the capacity of youth to effectively advocate for human rights and access to justice for vulnerable population. Great personalities like chief judicial personality S.PRABHJOT SINGH PALKI guided the students for women rights , and their position in society, also he created awareness about the legal rights.
So such kind of lectures helps students to know their legal rights.

The event was organized by the Incharge of Women Cell and Head of the department of Fine Arts Ms. Mandeep Dua, along with incharge teachers of women cell Ms. Nirmal Kaur, Ms. Neelima, Ms. Deepika, Ms. Anita . The event emphasized on the very occasion of the day where music performances and poetry recitations by officials was performed. There was a Poster making competition organized by the fine arts department where students participated and viewed their visions over "the role of women in the society" and were honored with prizes by Respected Principal Ma'am Ms. Kirpal Kaur. The competition was judged by Ms. Parminder Kaur and Ms. Jaspreet Kaur. The students who bagged prizes were, Surbhi from B.A. 2nd year holding first position, Gurleen and Hargun from M.A.-II Fine Arts were bracketed 2nd position holders, Gursharan Kaur and Vaishali from M.A.-I were both declared 3rd and Poornima from M.A.-II and Disksha from M.A.-I shared the consolation prize position. The posters were displayed in the exhibition outside the hall along with the books and poetries. This event summed up to be very informative and entertaining for all the students and staff members and the power of women was celebrated.

The members of WLLC organised an AWARENESS WALK CAMPAIGN on the same day. There was also Poster &  Slogan Writing Competition on the themes of CONSENT and RESPECT, to let women know about the power their consent holds.

Mrs. Veena Bharadwaj	4	50		WLLC organised in collaboration with office of district legal services authority conducted an event  to spread awareness to prevent  sexual awareness at work place. And how to deal with it. Students got to know much information regarding sexual harrasment and emergency helpline number to reach out when in case of sexual harrasment. The primary objective of this competition was to encourage students to understand the value of having lives through organ donation.A large number of students actively participated and showcased their creativity through meaningful posters and impactful slogans. The event successfully conveyed the message at "One Donor Can Save Many Lives”. It proved to be an informative and inspiring initiative by WLLC to promote social awareness among the youth.
2.	8-02-2026	MOVIE OUTING	15	The movie Border shows the bravery of Indian soldiers who protect the nation from external enemies. It highlights the importance of security and responsibility.While the film mainly focuses on war, it alsoindirectly connects to women's safety and legal literacy.Just as soldiers guard the country's borders, laws protect women from violence,harassment, and injustice. Women's safety is an important issue in India, and there are many laws like the Domestic Violence Act and the POSH Act to protect them.However, these laws are effective only when women are aware of their rights.

The members discussed important topics related to women's safety, legal rights, and gender equality.They explained laws such as the Domestic Violence Act and the POSH Act and guided students on how to seek legal help in case of harassment or injustice. The session aimed to spread legal awareness andempower women to stand up for their rights.Overall, the board decorations attracted attention and the meet-up with WLLC successfully promoted awareness about women's safety and legal literacy.

Despite the distance, sheactively takes care of its activitiesand ensures that the foundationcontinues its work effectively.The main aim of the WE Foundationis to help women who face sexualharassment and to spreadawareness about the POSH Act(Prevention of Sexual HarassmentAct 2013) The foundation provides Act, 2013). The foundation providesguidance, support, and protection towomen, especially at workplaces. Itpromotes a safe, respectful, andharassment-free environment forwomen.Overall, the WE Foundation plays an important role in protectingwomen's rights and encouraginggender equality in society.
5.	25-6-2025	WORK DONE IN RECENT FLOODS	200	During the devastating flood situation in Punjab, the President of the Women Legal Literacy Cell(WLLC), Ms. Vidhi Kaushal,associated with one of Punjab's biggest youth NGOs, Initiators ofChange, actively led relief efforts on the ground to support the affected families. Relief work was carried out in the flood-hit districts of Fazilka,Ferozepur, and Gurdaspur, ensuring that immediate assistance reached those in urgent need.Essential relief materials includingfood packets, clean drinking water,clothing, medicines, and other dailynecessities were distributed amongthe affected communities. Specialattention was given to women,children, and elderly individuals who were severely impacted by the disaster. Ms. Vidhi Kaushal personally visited the affected areas, interacted with families,understood their concerns, and ensured that help was provided efficiently and compassionately.This initiative reflected WLLC's strong commitment to socialresponsibility, women empowerment, and community welfare. The dedicated effortsbrought relief, hope, and support to many struggling families during an extremely difficult time.In recognition of her outstandinghumanitarian service and contribution during the flood reliefoperations, Ms. Vidhi Kaushal washonored with the IOC Punjab SewaAward.
