4.       IV Study of lanthanides and actinides in this semester gives knowledge of their properties and uses radioactive elements and nuclear reactions. Acids and bases and non aquous solvents are the next topics which make the students aware of the acid base reactions and how they are useful in different fields and extraction processes.
5.       V This subject provides knowledge about the limitations of VBT and elaborates crystal field splitting in octahedral, tetrahedral and square planar complexes as well as thermo dynamic and kinetic stability of transition metal complexes.Preparation, properties, nature of bonding in organometallic compounds and metal carbonyls helps to acquire knowledge about the formation of new reagents and catalysts in synthetic chemistry.Studying the structure of haemoglobin, myoglobin, biological roles alkali and alkaline earth metal ions help students in learning importance of chemistry in biological systems
6.       VI The bonding models, structure and reactions of silicones and phosphazenes and their wide application enhances the knowledge about silicone polymers which provide bases for many new materials with high commercial potential.HSAB concept explains occurrence of ores and minerals, poisoning of metal catalysts and prediction of formation of various coordination complexes.Electronic spectra of transition metals beautifully explain the existence of colours in natural complexes. Magnetic properties of transition metal complexes help in determining electronic structure and providing understanding of bonding in them.
7.     Organic I At the end of first semester students able to understand all the basic concepts of organic chemistry that too from the scratches like inductive effect, resonance, hybridization and basic structure formation and chemical reactions involved physical and chemical properties of alkanes, alkenes and alkynes. In addition to it, students can easily recognize all the isomeric properties and function of stereochemistry.
8.       II In the end of this semester students able to understand nomenclature, methods of formation, physical and chemical properties of dienes, alkenes and alkynes. Moreover learners can easily establish relationship between all the aromatic compounds and their differentiation from aliphatic compounds and all the chemical and functional properties of aromatic compounds that helps in performing chemical reactions involving aromatic compounds.
9.       III At the end of third semester students understand the concept of alcohols, phenols, aldehydes, ketones and carboxylic acids. They can be able to understand nomenclature, synthesis, and methods of preparation of all these compounds that too with mechanisms and also the effects of various factors on these chemical reactions.
10.       IV In the end learners identify the derivatives of carboxylic acids with their chemical properties and different methods of formation. Also, various concepts of fats and oils including their chemical reactions with other reagents.Students can easily understand all the amino acids and epoxides by various chemical reactions with mechanism and chemical and physical properties. They can identify heterocyclic compounds and they can easily answer the questions like how heterocyclic compounds  form and what are their structures including physical and chemical behavior.
11.       V To determine the structure of organic molecules using Ultraviolet (UV), Infrared (IR) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).Spectroscopic studies help in revealing complete stereochemical structureand progress of the chemical reaction. NMR is the most powerful tool in chemical research.Studying thepreparation and chemical properties of different carbohydrates helps in understanding of organic mechanisms to predict the outcome of reactions and also to design synthesis of organic molecules.
12.       VI Study of biomolecules such as amino acids, proteins and nucleic acids helps students in knowing how they coordinate body functions as enzymes, hormones, antibodies and provide the body’s building blocks.Students will grasp the mechanisms of different types of reactions by studying the synthesis of synthetic polymers, enolates and various organometallic compounds. They will try to predict the products of unknown reactions.
13.     Physical I This course helps students to gain thorough knowledge of mathematical concepts like differentiation, integration, mean, median, mode. They can able to understand different states of matter. Moreover, all the concepts related to chemical kinetics involving first, second and third order rxn.
14.       II This course provides thorough knowledge of concepts of thermodynamics.Students will be able to know about various solutions like emulsions, gels and colloidal solutions and there various properties. They will also learn about different colligative properties like elevation in boiling point, depression in freezing point etc.
15.       III Physical chemistry helps students to gain knowledge about energy changes in universe, different types of energy, liquid state and different types of liquid crystals and their uses in medical field to cure different types of diseases
16.       IV This paper basically includes thorough study of electrochemistry, partially miscible liquids, and phase equilibrium. This paper gives the basic knowledge about condition of equilibrium between different phases of matter.
