1	UG (Music Instrumental)	· Students become familiar with basic structure of Hindustani Classical Music. They get introduced to simple form of prevalent Indian ragas and talas. Simultaneously they get proper knowledge of Indian talas and able to play them on Tabla and other rhythm instruments.· Students get the basic knowledge of Indian classical instruments i.e. Sitar, Tabla, Tanpura, Harmonium etc.· Students also get knowledge of Indian folk instruments i.e. Dholak, Dhol, Algoze, Tumbi, Duff, Dufli, Khanjari, Manjira etc. and feel enthused to perform upon them.· Gains the understanding of basic terminology of India Music.· Students understand various form of music i.e. classical, semi-classical, light and folk forms. They also understand different playing styles of Gharanas.· Students get to know about the life and contribution of renowned musicians of Indian Classical Music.· They also get acquainted with demonstrative aspect of Indian Music.· Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions which provide them with an opportunity to learn instruments other than the ones prescribed in the curriculum.
	Attainment	Students are inspired to pursue higher study in music field. They obtain the proficiency of doing justice to various jobs related to music such as teaching and accompanying the performance of other artistes, dealing in instruments etc.
2	UG Honors (Music Instrumental)	· Students get introduce to deeper aspects of Indian Classical Music. They are able to study various forms of vocal and instrumental music simultaneously.· Students get a better grooming in the field of music and are mentally prepared to pursue music in higher studies.· They also learn various ragas in depth and are more confident to present them on the stage.· They get the knowledge of technology being used in music field.
	Attainment	After studying music honors, students develop interest and curiosity to go into the various intricacies of this subject and start making efforts to satisfy their curiosity. They are able to teach music at school level with great perfection. They also can run private coaching classes at the initial level.
3	PG (Music Instrumental)	· Students get a vast knowledge of various aspects of Indian Classical Music. They get involved in deep and critical study of different ragas and are able to compare them in depth.· Students acquire proficiency in performing various playing styles of Music. They are able to perform on stage with spontaneous creation and imagination.· Students get involved in in-depth study of chronological and historical development of Indian Music, the basic knowledge of terminology and notation system of Western music and good knowledge of Karnatik Music and Gurmat Sangeet also.· Students get a better grooming in the field of music and are mentally prepared to pursue music in higher studies. They develop tendency and aptitude required for research in music field.· Students study the salient aspects of teaching of music.· In various activities, Students get a chance to interact with Prominent Artists and draw inspiration from them.
	Attainment	This course enables students to create, play, analyze and appreciate musical compositions as well as improvisations. It opens many doors of earning for the students. Students can make their career in various fields of music industry. They may work as performer, accompanist, music director, arranger, composer, studio recordist, editor and more. It provides students with the ability to become teachers. They can work in schools, colleges, universities and also run their own music academies.
