OPEN SLOGAN WRITING COMPETITION |
Multi-lingual Society organised an Open Slogan Writing competition on 12th August, 2023. Under the teacher’s guidance, a canvas with a thought-provoking picture was posted outside the auditorium along with a box, in which anyone who wished to participate could drop their slogans. Students of all classes and years were eligible to participate. Around 33 students participated and slogans were received in English, Punjabi as well as Hindi. OPEN MIC POETRY EVENT |
Multi-lingual Society organised an Open Mic Poetry Event on 9th September, 2023. Under the teacher’s guidance, President Ishika Jain organised the entire event in Rusa Seminar Hall and encouraged students to participate. A total of 19 students showed exemplary confidence and charisma, bravely coming up on stage and sharing their beautiful self-written poetries with the enthusiastic audience. This event was conducted with the sole motive of encouraging students and developing confidence in themselves as well as to shine line on the budding poets of GCG. |

THE SOCIETY ORGANISED A ‘BLIND DATE WITH A BOOK’: BOOK EXCHANGE EVENT. |
The Multilingual Society of GCG hosted a captivating "Blind Date with a Book" event, where students had the opportunity to exchange books. This event received an honorable presence from Principal Mrs. Suman Lata Ji and Vice Principal Mrs. Gurjinder Kaur, as well as esteemed senior staff and English Department teachers. Approximately 35 students participated in this literary exchange, making it a resounding success. The event was skillfully organized by President Ishika Jain and Vice President Khushi Sharma. |

3 DAY WORKSHOP |
The Multilingual Society of GCG, Ludhiana conducted a 3 day workshop aimed at enhancing students' proficiency in various aspects like interview techniques, resume writing, decoding communication and public speaking. The workshop took place from February 1st, 2024 to February 3rd, 2024 in the college auditorium and witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 250 students. Renowned professionals like Mrs. Binita Jhanji, Dr. Prabhleen Toor and Dr. Anupam Vatsyayan: experienced academics in their fields, served as the resource persons for the workshop. Their wealth of knowledge and practical insights provided invaluable guidance to the attendees.The workshop not only imparted essential skills but also instilled confidence in the participants. Vice Principal mam, Mrs. Gurjinder Brar and the department of english extended a token of their gratitude to the resource persons. |

Cosplay Monologue Competition |
Multilingual Society of Govt. College for Girls, Ludhiana draws to a close with a Cosplay Monologue Competition. College Principal Mrs. Suman Lata was the chief guest. The closing ceremony began with a welcome note from Mrs. Gurjinder Kaur Brar, Head, Dept. of English. It was intelligent foresightedness of Mrs. Gurjinder Kaur to provide a unique platform for the students to perform in a monologue competition. The function continued with prize distribution ceremony for the various posts of multilingual society. College Principal Mrs. Suman Lata praised the students for the eye captivating performances and congratulated English department for the successful functioning. |
