Indian classical dance was established in 1965. It is offering B.A course with specialization in kathak. Apart from that students get the opportunity to learn other dance forms too, like folk dances, fusion dances, ballets, dance dramas etc. The students of the department bring laurels to the institution by winning competitions of different genres at district, state and national level. The vision of the department is to promote the culture and heritage of the nation. Our mission is to create artists, choreographers and performers in the field of dance. The students of dance, by acquiring the skills, have become financially independent. With this subject , Students achieved the opportunity to work in various fields of dance like art institutions, as dance teachers, in gym centers, conducting home tuitions of dance and dance classes etc.
